This text explains how mediatakipci.com (“MediaTakipci”, “we”) processes your personal data, as information under article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). Cookies are covered in section 9.
1. Data controller

2. What we process
- Accounts: first name, last name, e-mail address, your password (stored in a form that cannot be reversed), time zone, balance, payment and order records, support tickets, login and security records (IP address, browser information, login time).
- Orders without an account: e-mail address, the link or username ordered for, order and payment status, a hashed form of the IP address.
- Free service page: the link or username ordered for, hashed forms of the IP address and of a device cookie.
- Contact form: name, e-mail address, your message and any order code, a hashed form of the IP address.
- All visitors: cookies (see section 9) and security records.
We do not process or store payment card details such as card numbers; these are processed directly by the payment institution. We do not collect special categories of personal data (such as health, religion or biometric data).
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Taking orders, processing payments, performing the service, order status notices and support: formation and performance of a contract (KVKK art. 5(2)(c)).
- Keeping records required by invoicing, tax and consumer law: legal obligation (art. 5(2)(ç)).
- Protecting our rights in disputes and payment disputes: establishment, exercise or protection of a right (art. 5(2)(e)).
- Site security and preventing fraud and abuse (for example the daily rules of the free service): legitimate interest (art. 5(2)(f)).
- Analytics and marketing cookies, commercial electronic messages: only with your explicit consent (art. 5(1)). You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. How data is collected
Your data is collected from what you enter in the sign-up, order and contact forms on the Site, and automatically while you use the Site (cookies and security records).
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share it only as far as needed for the purposes above, with these groups of recipients:
- payment institutions that process your payment;
- companies providing technical infrastructure services to us, such as hosting, e-mail delivery and security verification (captcha), and business partners that support the running of our services;
- competent public authorities and courts, as required by law.
Some of these recipients may be located abroad. Transfers abroad are made in line with article 9 of the KVKK.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as the purpose requires and for the periods set by law (for example at least 3 years for records of consumer transactions and up to 10 years for commercial records). At the end of these periods your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
7. Security
The Site uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. Passwords are stored in a form that cannot be reversed. In the records of the free service, orders without an account and the contact form, IP addresses are kept only as hashes, not in plain form. Access to your data is limited to authorised team members.
8. Your rights (KVKK art. 11)
You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and to request information if it is; to learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used for that purpose; to know the third parties it is transferred to; to have incomplete or incorrect data corrected; to have data deleted or destroyed under article 7 of the KVKK and to have these steps notified to the recipients; to object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
You can apply by writing to support@mediatakipci.com from the e-mail address registered with us. State your name, contact details and request. We conclude your application free of charge within 30 days at the latest. If you find our answer insufficient, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK Kurulu).
9. Cookies
Cookies are small files saved in your browser so that the Site works and remembers you.
- Strictly necessary cookies (no consent needed): session cookie (
panel_session), form security cookie (ci_csrf_token), language preference (site_lang), your cookie choice (cookie_consent), and a device cookie that prevents abuse of the free service (mt_fid). - “Remember me” cookie (
remember_token): set only if you tick this option when logging in. - Analytics and marketing cookies: if used, they are loaded only after you consent in the cookie banner. Without your consent they are not loaded.
You can change your cookie choices at any time from the cookie banner link at the bottom of the Site. You can delete cookies in your browser settings; deleting strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working.
10. Changes
We may update this text. The current version is published on this page with its date.
