The checker reads the address only: it does not open the page, so it cannot see whether an account is private or a post was deleted.
Questions
Which link do I need for followers?
The profile link: instagram.com/name, tiktok.com/@name, the YouTube channel link (youtube.com/@name), the Facebook page, x.com/name or t.me/name. A post link does not work for followers.
Which link do I need for likes, views or comments?
The link of the post or video itself: instagram.com/p/… or /reel/…, tiktok.com/@name/video/…, youtube.com/watch?v=… or /shorts/…, and on Facebook the post, photo, video or reel link.
What are ?igsh=, ?si= and fbclid at the end of a link?
Codes the app adds when you press Share. They do not change the post. The clean link is shorter, opens the same page everywhere and does not carry your app details.
What should I do with short links like vm.tiktok.com or fb.watch?
Open the link in your browser and copy the full address from the address bar. Some services cannot open short or share links.
Does the account have to be public?
