What are the YouTube monetization requirements?
For ad revenue: 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 public watch hours in the last 12 months, or 1,000 subscribers and 10 million Shorts views in the last 90 days. For fan funding and Shopping: 500 subscribers and 3,000 watch hours or 3 million Shorts views. You also need 2-Step Verification, no active Community Guidelines strikes and to live where the program is available.
What changes on 1 February 2027?
New applicants for ad revenue will need 8,000 watch hours in the last 365 days or 20 million Shorts views in the last 90 days, plus 1,000 subscribers. Channels already in the program are not affected. The fan funding and Shopping requirements stay the same.
Which watch hours count?
Watch time on public long-form videos in the last 12 months. Shorts feed views, private and unlisted videos and deleted videos do not count toward watch hours.
What are the TikTok Creator Rewards requirements?
Age 18 or older, at least 10,000 followers, at least 100,000 video views in the last 30 days, a personal account in good standing and an eligible country. Only original videos longer than 1 minute earn.
Is TikTok Creator Rewards available in my country?
Only in selected countries, and the list changes. Open TikTok Studio > Creator Rewards: it tells you whether your account can join.
